“Le Fort” is a dedicated, non-profit exclusive private school specifically designed for gifted and talented children aged 3,5 to 18.
The campus in the Lefortovo district of Moscow was established in 1935 as a public school.
In 2008, the international school in its current guise was set up specifically to serve children of diplomatic missions and staff from multinational companies operating in Moscow.
Since 2022, the school has been known as Le Fort School of Science to reflect its academic orientation and campus location. It is a non-profit organization. Around 80% of our students come from expatriate families, but we also warmly welcome local residents who are keen on modern British education and school diplomas that offer access to universities worldwide.
“Le Fort” School of Science (former known as the English School of Science) is a UK school following the English national curriculum for England and Wales with a fresh approach to the syllabus. We have a keen focus on maths, science and IT, as well as developing first class English literacy and offering a generous syllabus in humanities. Affordability for all is key.
